Isi artikelPerson with cognitive problem like an impaired visual needs a support system to help him to get an information about the surrounding situation. Technological advances enable us to build an autonomous support system. Interfacing, path planning, obstacle avoidance, mapping, position estimation, and ultrasonic sensor system are the important features for built an autonomous vehicle. This paper will describe about path planning system, A* method is use in path planning system. A* method can be implemented in path planning system. Experiment with A* method in path planning system is using computer. As the result from the experiment, path planning system is producing pixels that connecting the first coordinate to target coordinate. The pixels will created the fastest and secure path planning that avoid from a static obstacle. Combination from all of the features will build an alternative support system which can guide the user to reach the destination and also give an information about the surrounding situation.
