Abstract
Tracer study is one of the estimation in National Accreditation University Organization. The tracer study is never be used in Atma Jaya’s Industrial Engineering that drives researcher to do this tracer study in order to seek what kind of attributes that have to be consider most important from English Language Aspect, Communication Skill and Integrity by spreading a questionnaire to alumnies’s and users. According to result of data manufacturing, we are able to know that the alumnies’s and the users’ estimation in scale 1 until 4. The alumnies’s consider that English Language
Aspect has the lowest importance level, i.e. 3. 25 and Integrity Aspect has the higher importance level, i.e.3. 56. The lowest authority level is also happened in English Language Aspect, i.e. 2. 84. Whereas the highest authority level is on the Integrity Aspect, i.e. 3. 19. The highest alumnies’s satisfaction is the process of learning Communication Skill, i.e. 3. 18 and the lowest level is the process of learning English Language in 2. 26. In users’ side, then English Language Aspect has an average importance level and the lowest satisfaction from the 12 users who is become the respondents, i.e. 2.93 and 2.97. Integrity Aspect has an average importance level and the highest satisfaction from them, i.e. 3. 72 and 3. 38.
The researcher is using entangle table that combine both of the alumnies’s and the users’ estimation to find a critical attribute by looking at the biggest G mark (critical attribute) and the learning process which is become a priority by looking at the biggest mark of H/E. Critical attribute is speaking (G=0.41), grammar (G=0.37), the Communication Skill with the boss (G=0.37), and also big confidence in taking speaking decision and facing with people (G=0.35). The priority in the learning process is presentation of English task (H/E=0.66), English Language subject (H/E=0.84), participation as a member of student organization (HMTI) in order to increase communication skill (H/E=0.57) and also a
laboratory assistant, so that can make the student become wise, responsible when facing a problem that related to the laboratory, loyal to job and increasing confidence (H/E=0.48). To develop the priority’s learning process, so the researcher gives several suggestions that advisable to apply. One of them is add TIU in English language subject’s SAP, in order to translate Indonesia language into English language in a good manner.
