Abstract
Metal pipe is one of the basic material to create a framework or other products used by many people. Products that use ordinary materials as a metal pipe frame, including: canopy roof house, buggy, etc.. However, the metal pipe used to be shaped in
such a way to better meet the specific values, such as: functional, aesthetic, and so on. Metal pipe that is in the market is still generally straight shape, because it is necessary machinery a process to change the shape of the metal pipe so that will increase the value to be more functional as we want. To change the shape of the metal pipe can be done with a variety of ways. In this book, a tool used to change the shape of the metal pipe is three
roll bending. On this instrument there are three pieces of work pulley to bend the metal pipe to be able to reach a certain angle. Two pulley gives style to the press material, while metal pipes one pulley (pulley major) as a stimulus so that the third will move pulley rotation with the other one because of friction. Pulley main can be useful as a stimulus from the three roll bending and bending mold as a tool in the rotary draw bending. In this book, the author discusses the design of only three roll bending, dimensional axis output of the reducer, and electric motor that is used to bend metal pipe
as desired. Some of the calculations related to the design of three roll bending, dimensional axis, electric motor, and transmission system will be discussed in this book.
