Capital markets make it possible for large and small investors to diversify investment. The existence of mutual fund instruments and unit-linked life insurance expected to support the development of capital markets in Indonesia, especially to attract funds from domestic investors. The objective of this study is to analyze the investment results of unit-linked life insurance and mutual funds. In addition, this study also aims to analyze the results of unit-linked investments and separate term life insurance plus mutual funds. This study carried out on mutual funds managed by PT Schroders and unit-linked life insurance marketed by PT Sequis Life. This study was conducted by comparing the actual investment return of equity funds between mutual funds and unit-linked for 3 years. This study is also conducted by analyzing and comparing the results of investments in the next 20 years.
