PT Fuji Dharma Elektric is as Kwh meter production company is having a difficulty on the machinery prosessing at the machine shop I that is the unpropriate production scheduling that causing a bottleneck in that line of production, thats way development and repairment is needed to achieve the teoretical value that can be compare with the actual condition. To finish the production demand in time, PT Fuji Dharma Elektric is need to paid attention on the production scheduling problem that they have. The company have to make a production schedule that can minimize the time to completed that demand. Right now the production department at the PT Fuji Dharma Elektric is not using any method of production scheduling, the production scheduling is made by the experience only. The actual time for the use of 60 ton press machine is 766 minutes. The implementation for the macine sheduling is do with a simple scheduling methode that use n job m paralel machine scheduling, that is Mcnaughton alogaritm. Scheduling that using Mcnaughton alogaritm is gona get the maximum time to complete all the job (makespan). In the case of PT Fuji Dharma Elektric the time for the machine shop I is 503 minutes so there is time efficiency 34,33% . For the compartments method the time is; SPT 879 minutes, LPT 879 minutes, EDD 884 minutes, and Slack 863 minutes From the result it can be concluded that for machine scheduling, is better to use Mcnaughton alogaritm because all the job can be finish faster compare with the other methode or the actual methode that use right now. In this way the time efficiencycan provide benefit for the company. |
