PT.Surya Adhitia Fortuna Glass is a company which its major in processing glass that produced followed its on job order.with using six sigma it hope would decrease the defect level of production and continues its quality improvements. DMAIC (Define-Measure-Anaylze-Improve-Control) method is used in this company.In the Define phase is deteremined the line production that have been observed which is pre-process production line.Then in Measure phase is identified the dominant type of defect so that the scratch defect is one of dominant defects that cause before, then identifying process production after that baselining performance in process and counting on sigma level then we could get the number of sigma level which is same as 3.91 that means the probability of the company to produce the products that demand by consument is valued as 93.319% with 66.807 unit every a million of possibility with the probability of defect.In Anaylze phase,the fishbone diagram is created and continued by FMEA method.and then it gets the highest RPN which is valued as 256. In Improve and Control phases is entered in Analyze phase.In Improve phase is given the opinion of improvements from the highest RPN value which is created the cutting table idea and do non parametric test with Mcnemar method then continue by creating the forms and sheets would do by the company. At the end the scracth defect is get as the highest defect and stated as characteristic of quality and it gets that the most influencing factor is caused by human factor.and in final task the quality improvement is attempt with cutting table development. |
