The Leadership Programme for Serving Headteachers (LPSH) is an innovative professional development programme for experienced headteachers, sponsored initially by the Teacher Training Agency (TTA) and then the Department for Education and Employment (DfEE). It is a behavioural model of leadership which relates the leadership styles, competencies and individual characteristics of headteachers to the organisational performance of their schools.
