Have you ever read a book on how to be a successful follower? Every airport bookstall is laden with tomes on how to be an effective leader. You won’t, however, find books on what to do when you’re not leading. There seems little, or no advice on how to behave when you follow a leader; indeed ’follower’ images are generally negative- hence the transmutation of ‘followership’ into ‘followersheep’
