Abstract
PT. TIFICO is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry namely polyester filament yarn. Problems faced by the company is the production quality is declining because of lack of maintenance. This is due to non optimal treatment system conducted by the company, so it is needed a system to provide treatment assignment prevenive to the components.
Determination of the critical line with the assessment Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of 10 lines with a level of low rate quality . Machines that can affect product quality filament yarn is spinning engine block with the critical
equipment is the gear pump. The first step is to determine the critical components of the gear pump based on data that occurs with chronic abnormal. Then do a search to the root cause of the failure of the component functions using RCFA. RCFA is the
first sheet in the RCM II. Then performed the determination for the critical level of failure by using RPN. Results from the first sheet and second sheet (RPN) will be a reference to fill in Decision Sheet. Determination task of components is done by a qualitative analysis based on the decision tree. Treated gear components based on the scheduled restoration and bushing and key components based on scheduled discard.
Components that receive the treatment assignment and then been sought of schedule of maintenance treatment with calculating TTR and TBF. Distribution that in accordance with the TTR and TBF data will then be search for the parameters used to determine the level of reliability, downtime, and availability of existing systems. From the calculation results obtained that the components gear need a
maintenance every three times per month, with the 232.72 hour inspection interval.
Gear components will be checked and repaired if occurred a damaged if there is an accordance with the criteria that is scheduled restoration. As for the components with the scheduled discard assignment criteria that is bushing and the key needs to be
treated every 13 and 9 times per month for 52.706 and 71.9 hours. Treatment will be done by considering if there are damaged components will immediately change. Maintenance system by using RCM II can increase the performance of the components. The quality of production will increase as well affected by operator cooperation and the role of good management.
