Artha’s food canteen is a canteen which sells various menu of food for school children, from kindergarden age through high school students. The menu offered by the Canteen includes western food, Chinese food, Indonesian food and many kinds of snacks. Artha food,s Canteen located in IPEKA Tomang, Greenville , Jakarta Barat. Until now, the system run by the Canteen still facing a lot of problem such as stock planning administration, stock supervising, un-steady vendor performance, randomly conducted financial report, and poor working procedures. Based on those
problems, Canteen owner named Ibu Artha has to be on her store all the time and conducting supervisions processes on her own, from customers order controlling to make an order appointment with the vendors.
Based on that fact, to cope with the problems Ibu Artha facing, author will make a computerized database system where all activities happen within the Canteen will be inputted into the database. And by those report Ibu Artha will only need to control the process through reports produced by the system’s database. Apart from that to ensure a
good vendor performance, writer will also make a database system which able to score the vendor performance. If it is not fulfilled then new other more qualified vendor appointment will be made.
The point of this Theses is to make a database system which able to conduct a performance controlling of a vendor so it can perform above the standard and to control the stock ordering administrations. |
