Abstract
The objective of this paper is to develop mathematical model which can predict son’s stature due to anthropometric relationship between biological parent’s stature to son’s stature. The mathematic model has limited for predict son’s stature from his biological father and mother’s stature. This model just can be use for predict son’s stature from ethnic of Chinese whom live in DKI Jakarta, Indonesia.
Data collection has done with measurement form. The measurement form is containing about identity data and research data. This research has collected
720 data, comprised by 166 biological father’s data, 166 biological mother’s data, 166 first son’s data, 166 second son’s data, and 56 third son’s data. Data
processing has done by used software SPSS. The mathematical model has created by Multiple Regressions with 2 factors. The result of this paper is developing mathematical model which can be
used to predict son’s stature from his biological parent’s stature for ethnic of Chinese who lived in DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. The formula of mathematical model is -11.971 + 0.774X1 + 0.341X2. This mathematical model can be used to
predict son’s stature from ethnic of Chinese’s family who lived in DKI Jakarta, Indonesia.
