Abstract
Education is the most important thing in one's life to support a future that will be achieved. One place to continue the level of higher education are universities (PT). But in choosing a college student, a candidate has the criteria factors - factors that influence decisions in choosing higher education tinggi.perguruan has made various efforts to increase the number of candidates who register with some activities visit seperiu college promotion team to the High School and exhibition - exhibition other activities to increase attractiveness to prospective students choose universities. Prospective students need to identify the many factors - factors that influence when choosing a university, especially for private universities. The number of private colleges in JABODETABEK (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) is of particular concern for prospective students who are in the area around JABODETABEK. Intense competition in improving the quality enough to be owned by a major concern for prospective students, from here will be a candidate doubts in choosing private colleges. The method used to determine factors - factors that most influence the decision of prospective students in choosing private universities, namely by using descriptive analysis and factor analysis. The data used is taken from questionnaires that have been distributed to 150 respondents in JABODETABEK.
