Anthorpometric study is run for the office workers in DKI Jakarta. The output from this study is data base of body dimensions of office workers in DKi Jakarta where the selected body dimensions dimens numbered 36 consisting of 13 dimensions in a standing position, 16 dimensions in a sitting position, 2 dimensional heads, 2 dimensional hand, 2 dimensional feet and 1 dimensional weight. Samples taken as many as 400 people consisting of 195 male office workers and 205 female office workers. The study was conducted from November 2009 to January 2010. Measurements were taken as much as 2 times to minimize errors that occur during the measurement process. The data obtained from the form of identity data and measurement data. Measurement data processing done with the help of SPSS and Minitab software. From the measurement data will be a normal test and the test od significance where the second identity test data will be used as parameters of sex, age, ethnicity, and work areas. Test of significance will also be used for database comparisons between countries. The result of this study is anthropometric data base of office workers for men and women in DKI Jakarta which showed separately where for each data base consists of number of samples, average, standar deviation, and percentikes (1%, 5%, 10%, 50%, 90%, 95%, and 99%). Data base from this study can be applied in the design of anthropometric for equipment – office equipment and can also be used as a reference for researchers and academics in need. |
