The objective of this paper is to create an anthropometric data base of informal workers (employer) in DKI Jakarta. The nthropometric estimates consist of 37 dimensions of human body that relevant of its function. Until now, anthropometric database which represented all of the population in Indonesia is not available yet. Nurmianto’s research , in 1991, issued the anthropometric data of Indonesian citizens by equivalent them to Hongkong citizens regarding to their Asian ethnic. This research results the anthropometric database which represented the DKI Jakarta’s populations,, by taking the sample database directly to those appointed populations. Data collection has done during November 2009 until January 2010 to 400 informal workers in DKI Jakarta. The data has taken written in measurement form consist of identity data and research data of 37 dimensions of body space, which every subject is taken twice of measurement, in order to minimize the measurement error. It consist of 232 data of informal male workers and 168 data of informal female workers. Data processing has done by usingMinitab software, included a normality test of 37 dimensions of body space, various test of reference dimensions and significant test with sub populations of reference dimensions. The significant test has done to subpopulation likes genders, age, ethnic, settle place and between another countries. The result of this paper is the anthropometric database of informal workers in DKI Jakarta that consist of 37 dimensions of human body, each for male and female included mean and standard deviation with various percentile likes 1%, 5%, 10%, 50 %, 90 %, 95% and 99%. This database can be used to be a reference for any other research as a further information and also can be used as a basic data for any design that exist in informal environment. |
