Abstract
As we know that reading is one of four fundamental skills that learners should reach in language learning. When we learn a foreign language, reading plays an important role. Reading not only helps us enlarge vocabulary phrase but also helps us understand more about a foreign language. Every one can read and write, but just not enough well. However, reading a foreign language takes time at the beginning. As a result, it’s important to learn effective reading skill. Successful learners’ language competence partly depends on their key elements of comprehension input which is reading. Krashen (2004) argues that the quality of the language which learners are exposed is very important if they learn from the input. Krashen (2004) also states that reading is the best input element in improving learners’ language competence.
