| Education world is always related to the teacher as a person who teaches or educates people. Generally a place where teaching and learning activities happen is called a school, so schools and teachers need to each other (Burmaster, 2009) and like we all know, since English is an international language, due to globalization era, it is important especially for the young people to develop their nations by learning English more and more. Due to these circumstances, more learning activities are needed the more teachers are needed too, but before being an English teacher, he/she has to get knowledge of English and experiences in teaching practice to be a good English teacher, for example by attending an English Department Faculty of Education in Atma Jaya Catholic University which provides an area where all the students are taught all about English in order to be good English teachers, because before graduating from English Department Faculty of Education in Atma Jaya Catholic University, the students are required to take a Teaching Practicum subject that the students will be trained to do teaching practices at schools and the students who are taking this subject are called student teachers. |
