Abstract
Introducing young learners to a new language offers opportunities to widen their horizons and awaken their early enthusiasm and curiosity about language. Nowadays, parents equip their children in the early age with English as it is used globally around the world. It cannot be denied that English is a significant subject in the education curriculum and one of the influential languages in the world. The idea underlying the teaching of English to young learners is that it will be beneficial for the children’s future if they learn it from early age, such as: native-like pronunciation and the ultimate goal of learning a second language for young learners is to be able to comprehend and produce it in every situation (Brown, 2001).
In order to ensure effective English teaching for young learners, classroom management should be paid attention to. Roberts (1983) said that children should be managed by the teacher who teaches them. Teacher is the center of classroom management. If the class is well managed, the students will successfully learn the second language in learning process.
