The objectives of this research were to explain the characteristics of the newspaper's profile of fisher and marine development, to compare the objectivity of the reports based on the result of censuses of fisher and marine science and mass media experts' opinions, to study the policy of news on fisher and marine development on Kaltim Post newspaper editorial staff. The respondents were chosen by using purposive sampling method for news sample clipped for the evaluation from the panelist expert team.
