Isi artikel
The high-caste balinese people, such as the Brahmanas and the Ksatriyas usually maintain high Balinese in their communication to show their status, power, social distance, politeness and unsolidarity byusing their honorifics, such as 'titiang' for I, 'iratu/irage' for you or 'tuaji/aji' for father. When talking with the lower castes, they may use "Tu' (such as 'rage' or 'tiang') and receive 'Vous' (such as 'irage' or 'titiang') to show their power. They may also use middle BAlinese to show their solidarity/ closeness and politeness to save others' face(s).
