A change in the curriculum Medical Faculty of Atma Jaya Catholic University and results of research that shows the difference learning approach between curriculum hybrid and Traditional, make researchers to see whether changes curriculum at Medical Faculty of Atma Jaya Catholic University also occur in the learning approach. Research conducted in the Medical Faculty of Atma Jaya Catholic University where the hybrid system has run since 2006. Research conducted with questionnaire about how to learn or called Learning Process Questionnaire (LPQ) is adapted from the Australian Council for Educational Research Hawthorn by John Biggs. The questionnaire is completed by the hybrid students (2006) and traditional students (2005). The number of samples that use 125 for hybrid student and 85 for traditional student. Calculation of samples used formula of proportional sample. Data are processed using the Chi Square and the results obtained that there is a significant relationship between changes in the curriculum where the hybrid students used surface learning about 30.4% . We can conclud that the hybrid student has a tendency to use surface learning.
