Isi artikel
This article articulates the value and use of feminist interpretive inquiry for research on sensitive topics. It presents examples from two studies of women healing from alcoholism and Southeast Asian refugee women who are paraprofessional helpers. The article demonstrates that feminist interpretive inquiry is mindful of gender and power differentials, promotes trust, creates space for individual stories, and allows for holistic findings that may not be captured in quantitative research.
