Isi artikelThis research conducted to prove that emotional intelligence could minimize the negative effect of resistance to change to innovative behavior. In this condition it called mediator effect. Meyer and Salovey mentioned that emotional intelligence was personal cognitive function to organize situation and he could give proportional response to this situation. This condition support personal innovative behavior with applied the creative ideas (King and Anderson, 2003). For that reason, this research was conduct at company that has changes in tasks and need creative ideas to improve the personal and organization performance. The respondents were 152 persons. To prove this aim's reserach, researcher use analysis methods that published by Baron and Kenny (1986). The result says that emotional intelligence could minimize the negative effect of resistance to change to innovative behavior.
