Abstract
The high frequency of damage affect the performance so that the engine resulting in delays in completing orders and increased production costs. Through data which have been collected, can know by mixing A machine represent machine owning big enough downtime value. This matter can pursue the way production so that require calculation of OEE to get printing machine effectiveness value, analyse fault diagnosed and FMECA to look for damage cause and effect which generated. Do first step taken is determining component becoming biggest downtime cause during 22 months by using pareto diagram that is bearing component. Then fault diagnosed analyse and FMECA to analyse cause damage of machine and also generated by effect because damage of component. After analyse to be done, calculation of preventive maintenance started from determination of critical component pursuant to level of downtime time and got bearing component, from calculation got that optimal time interval for the inspection of bearing component executed every 25500 hours once. Result of calculation indicate that this action is estimated can yield level of availability of bearing component equal to 0,9179. In calculation, also got bearing component increase reliability value, that is equal to 50,235%.
