Isi artikel
Three hurricane seasons have come and gone since Katrina’s unwelcome visit to the Gulf coast. It’s been a story of epic proportions; of the good, the bad, and the ugly. The account that follows captures some of each of these with the goal to give the reader a glimpse into what is ultimately a deeply personal experience, though shared by many. For some, the approach of each of these seasons has been a bit like growing up with an abusive, alcoholic parent. You live in fear, not knowing when he or she will come home drunk and abuse you.
