The changing of memory disturbance is a continuum process from benign senescent forgetfulness (BSF) to mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to dementia that releted to the aging process. This condition will be a growing problem in Indonesia since the number of elderly people will increase concurrently with life expectancy. A research has been conducted to know the relation between the memory of elderly patients in Neurology Outpatient Clinic Dr. Karyadi Hospital-Semarang, to the individual characteristics such as age, sex, level of education, and occupation.
