Many researches to elucidate the effect of electric field had been done, but the results were controversial. A research using direct alectrostatic field exposure (doses 1 kV-7 kV) to rat testicle one hour daily during thirty days was conducted by Soeradi (1987). This research found alterations of spermatogenesis in rat testicles which was showed by a decrease in seminiferous ephiterlium population, decrease of fecundity, and several abnormalities on its offspring that happened in doses of 6 kV and 7 kV.
