Thalassaemis is a monogenic hereditary disorder that affect globin gene, which is the most common disease in our country. In Indonesia, there are two important types of thalassaemia, namely thalassaemia a and thalassaemia B, and thalassaemia Bo is found more commonly than thalassaemia a, either in heterozygotic or homozygotic type.
