It has been mentioned in literature that human hair can accumulate mercury when it is exposed to mercury externally as well as internally by food concentration. This study was conducted with the objective to know mercury concentation in black hair and gray/ white hair of male and female. Hair samples were taken from workers in the textile industry who were exposed dayly to mercury subtances in their work.
