Cancer screening is a source of much debate. A screening test may be cheap, but its application, costly. Therefore, unless it can be proven to reduce mortality from a specific cancer, the resouces are better spent on improving care. future developments in screening will lead to further ethical, educational, commercial and medical challenges.
