Cross-functional team is becoming more increasingly a prerequisite for facing a complex and changing organizational environment. Project implementation is one of the ways to cope environment changing. Theoretically, cross-functional team is the right mechanism to, rapidly, respond to changing environment. To ensure that cross-functional team is well implemented, this article attempts provide review of eleven antecedents of cross-functional team. The nine antecedents of them are independent variables while one is control variable. These variables are taken from different samples, and projects. This review tries to provide a general insights of antecedent of cross-functional team by making ten propositions. even though it is not very complete review, it is expected that it help readers to build a new model for antecedent of cross-functional team. All antecedents are derived from many studies and review of literatures. Finally, it attempts to provide a methodological review for making these propositions a valid result. |
