Abstract
Several steps are used to find out the appropriate strategy which should be applied by a company. First, identifying the internal and external factor using EFE and IFE Analysis. Second step, verifying the internal and external factors using the Strategy Formulating Quantitative Model, the SWOT matrix, IE matrix and the grand strategy matrix. Third, determine the most appropriate strategy for the company using the QSPM matrix. The research has found out that product development strategy is the most appropriate strategy for MPU Dental, because it has received the highest score compared to the other alternative strategies found at the QSPM matrix. Therefore it’s recommended that MPU Dental use this strategy. The research implicates that MPU Dental is supposed to use product development strategy with more dental implant product or other product that support the dental health service for the doctor and as such also the society. The action plan and budgeting work program must also be developed as to support the product development strategy of the company.
