The percentage of DKI’s primary school health program is low. 46% in North Jakarta and 24.6% in South Jakarta. Specific aims are to describe the implementation of school health program at primary school by acquiring data of primary level student nutritional status; detecting the school's physical environment and the role of health center in its coverage area. Type of study : descriptive. Sampling method: stratified random sampling. Instrument of data collecting: questionnaire surveys and checklists for observing school physical environment. First grade primary level student nutrition status is determined by body weight, study samples: 34 primary schools. The result shows that the health care education subject hasn't been taught completely. Only 9 (26%) schools fulfill it. The school environmental hygiene needs special attention to prevent spreading of communicable diseases and to educate for the healthy living. 25% of first grade primary school students suffer mild to severe malnutrition, Conclusion: The implementation of school health program hasn't been conducted optimally. The efforts are varying the educational process in school by also including life skill education programs, improving schools' health environment and students nutritional status, eq: giving additional meal and inspecting their body weight progress.
