Les specialis derogat legi generalis is one of the law foundation that is applied when the appropriate act needs to be chosen to deal with a case. The application of this law foudnation to solve credit disputes between banks and debtors is not easy as there are inconsistencies between two acts that are used as the references in the credit agreements. There two acts are : law no. 10 of year 1999 about ammandement of law no. 7 of year 1992 about banking and law no. 4 of year 1996 about surety right.
