There are few business instruments growing in the stock market viz. Promissory note, stock, bond, saving bond. However, one the most deliberately instrument discussed by public is bond. Considering a huge public sentimeents to invest their money in a form of bond especially state bond and state corporation bond, it is necessary to socialize what bond means, the types of bond and bond risks ? A legal aspect of bond is an ultimate part of understanding bond in facing globalization of world trading, since there happens a legal convergency with another instrument in practice of law in indonesia. As generally known indonesia which follows a civil law system has adopted legal instrument of states that follow common law or case law system. By understanding of legal aspect of bond there is a hope that public may choose business opportunity through the use of the most secure and profitable business instrument in the view of financial reason and legal aspecta as well.
