The philosopher William Kingdon Clifford argued that “it is wrong, always and for everyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence.” We are not sure whether all the readers and authors of Research on Social Work Practice would agree with Clifford generally; however, we hope that they do so with respect to research in social work.
