Health seeking behavior is one of the factors that influence community health status. Self medication or going to the health facilities is a choice of handling illness. The objective of this study is to identify the pattern of health seeking behavior which is very important for decision makers to determine better health policies. Variables of morbidity, out-patients, inpatients, types of health facilities, household economic status, source of health financing, health services satisfaction, health seeking behavior, and demographic as well as socio-economic characteristics of Susenas 2001 was analyzed.
