Isi artikelRecently, government has realeased an obligation called as Treasury bill (T-bills) which is a promissory notes whether in IDR and in foreign currency in which the state has obligation to paythe principal and its interest when the notes have been due. There are two kinds of T-bills accordng to the duration of validity. The first one is known as Treasury-Note which has duration of validity for 12 months and the second is known as Treasury-Bond which has duration of validity for more than 12 months. The T-bills has aimed at generating public funds in order to finance deficitof state budgeting; to cover a year shortage of cash-flow caused by imbalance of income and expense; and to manage portfolio of state bonds.
