Five hundred and ninety four sputum samples were collected from patients suspected of Lung Tuberculosis (TB) and had specific complaint of coughing for more than three weeks. A number of 124 mycobacteria strains that fulfilled the sample criteria were used for catalase activity and Oral Anti TB (OAT) susceptibility test of classical method and multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
