Isi artikel
Due to fluid compressibility and internal leakage, hydraulic systems have inherent nonlinearities and parameter uncertainties. Thus, it is extremely difficult to achieve high-precision control using linear methods. This paper presents a novel nonlinear sliding mode control scheme which uses a soft switching strategy in the boundary layer to help improve the tracking performance. Simulation results indicated that good tracking performance of the electrohydraulic position control in response to step-like and sine wave reference inputs can be obtained
