This paper is to show that the global output feedback control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear sys- tems with output dependent uncertain integrator gains can be treated by a simple design strategy. By doing so, the existing robust adaptive backstepping and the small gain techniques can then be applied. As a re- sult, the output of the system can be made arbitrarily small and the internal states are globally uniformly bounded
