The algorithm is installed in a DSP, and then we construct a high-speed 3-dimensional Hough-transform using actual data from a laser range finder. For simpler calculation, we set a look-up table in the cash memory of DSP. By using this structure, it is possible for us to equip any processing speed and power saving, especially when it is loaded in mobile robots.
