Isi artikelIn this study, the writer tries to find out whether there is a significant difference between the grammar achievement of the third grade elementary students who are taught with puppetry drills in teaching grammar and those who are taught with deductive technique. The sample of this study was the third grade students of Intan Permata Hati Elementary School To collect the data of the study, the writer conducted three treatments, which were held on September 4th, 7th, and 11th. Besides, the writer also administrered a pre test and posttest. After getting the data, the writer calculated the data findings with t-test. Since the result of the research showed that to is greater than tt, it can be proved that the use of puppetry drills is significanlty effective in teaching grammar. As the result, the grammar achievement of the third grade elementary students is improved.
