Isi artikelTakagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy system models provide sufficient information about the partition of control space, but can be hardly utilized to design controllers. When TS fuzzy systems are viewed as polytopic systems or nonlinear time-varying systems, linear control theory with matrix inequalities techniques or feedback linearization can be applied for control. In either case, the advantages of using fuzzy rules diminish. In this paper, we proposed a mixed-type Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) consisting of a Mamdani type FLC and a TS type FLC to fully utilize the fuzzy rules given in the TS fuzzy system model. Although modeling errors of the gain-scheduled approximate system still exists as in any gain-scheduling method, the proposed controller manages to control an eight-rule TS fuzzy system.
