Isi artikelCommonly, we do not want to place and littering our garbage in our surrounding area. We try to find other places which quite far away from our house and our settlement to avoid the negative affects which is generated by our garbage itself, such as; unpleasant odor, flies, dirty environment view and so on. In other word, we always want our environment to be clean even though the consequence of our action causes other’s environment become dirty and worst. Subconsciously, this concept is adopted in human’s space concept when human think broadly in his environment. In group, this concept also adopted as classes emulation which use class power relation to realize that. For this writing purpose, I want to describe how the distributing of temporary disposal site in Semarang. From selected five research locations found that all of the temporary disposal sites (TDS) are located in poor neighborhood. Commonly, the poor people are forced to receive the TDSs in their neighborhood because of their incapability to reject the placement. The burdens that the poor people will bear become complicated because of the lack ness of local government to overcome and manage the urban solid waste. At last, they are the first victims who bear the negative effect from the open temporary dumping sites, otherwise the other group, the middle and the up classes are free from the burden. The discussion of environmental justice becomes the base to analyze this unfair situation.
