The stem cells are the bodies "master" cells, found in many tissues and organs in the body such as: in the bone marrow, brain, peripheral blood, blood vessels, skeletal muscle, skin. and the liver. These cells are undifferentiated and could develop into a diverse range of specialized cell type in many tissues and organs, such as heart, pancreas, nerve cells, etc. The primary role of these adult stem cells is to maintain and repair the damaged cells in tissue in which there are found, therefore, they becoma a potential source for treatment of degenerative disease such as diabetes mellitus, myocard infraction.
