Isi artikelIn this paper, a newly developed and inexpensive graphic monitoring system for battery performance test with LabVIEW is presented. When the battery is formed, we must charge/discharge the battery recursively for a long time to guarantee the battery performance in the best condition. The LabVIEW-based monitoring system controls data acquisition, performs data processing, visualization and storage, and provides a graphic user interface. The use of a personal computer instead of a micro-controller lead the system to much higher flexibility and allows easy adaptation to fabricate any kind of battery. In contrast to simple battery monitors, the proposed scheme is capable of actively affecting battery production.
