In this paper, the IMC parametrization for multivariable systems with unstable poles and zeros is presented. The key is to divide it into 3 parts. The first part stabilizes the system by postmultiplying and the last one by pre-multiplying. The second part makes the system internally stable. It is shown that the IMC parametrization is realized as the generalized stabilizer and its reverse.
