Isi artikel
Instructional materials are the classroom tools which enable teachers to put into practice what they believe about how skills, attitudes, and knowledge are most effectively acquired by learners. Teachers choose and use instructional materials because they cannot (and ought not) prepare all the materials they need. As a complement to this, instructional materials are the most important shapers of teachers’ classroom behaviour and beliefs; more important than ’methods’ courses, for no matter what they would like to do, teachers depend upon materials, and if they find the materials ’work’, they believe in them, and therefore in the ideas on which the materials are based.
