| In rural areas of developing countries each village should have its own health centre or subcentre. Health education should aim toward making each household head the effective medical officer of health for his domain, by protecting water supplies, disposing of wastes, growing protective foods, etc. Success along these lines can be achieved if every member of the health team incorporates health education into all his work, and demonstrates in his own home life what he teaches in the community. |
