Abstract
Satisfaction is persons’ level of feeling toward something after comparing the result with expectation. Satisfaction is one of the important aspects that high calcium milk manufacturers would like to give its customers especially during this time in which there is a sharp competition within the milk manufacturing business. As a new player, Produgen Gold has a marketing strategy in offering amore reasonable price compared to its competitors as well as a high quality product. With this strategy, it is expected that Produgen Gold can satisfy its customers so that they always choose to buy its product. To maintain and increase sales volume, Produgen Gold uses a mixed-marketing strategy in which its goals are customer acquisition (to get new customers) and customers retention( to maintain the existing customers). The focus is more towards customer retention rather than customer acquisition. The main implications of this is the importance in understanding the customer satisfaction aspects in regards to the quality and price as the major priorities to maintain the achieved level of sales volume. Reffering to the explanation above, therefore this research is intended to test the product quality and price that has direct impact with the customer satisfaction. The research was done through a method survey of the Produgen Gold customers who have consumed its product. A various data that has been gathered for each variable in this research was descriptively analysed description and inferential analysis are intended to explain about the data based on the respondents identity or characteristic in which the explanation can be described based on gender,a ge, education, and occupation. Inferential analysis is intended to draw conclusion to answer the research that was done through a regression method as a quantitative approach in order to analyse the impact of those independent variables through other dependent variables. The result of this shows that there is an impact regards to the product quality and price to the cuistomer satisfaction, whether it is partial or altogether. Between the two variables of quality variables towards customer satisfaction. Managerial implication of this research shows that the strategy to increase customer satisfaction for Produgen Gold must focus on both the product quality and price. The combination of those two aspects is the key to customer satisfaction as satisfied will be loyal customers.
